I was in the habit of taking my daily vitamins while I took my morning walk. It was working. Alarm – throw on exercise gear and shoes with bleary eyes – pop vitamins – walk and chew.

Then it stopped working. I got out of the habit of taking those pills. I tried restarting the habit by keeping the bottle of vitamins on my bedside table so that I would see it in the morning. Bleary eyes missed them every time. So now I put the bottle of pills in my shoe! Can’t miss it there. Since doing that I have a 100% success rate.

So what would it take to make a new habit stick for you?
