Here’s one way to cut down on Christmas-related tasks.

Don’t send Christmas cards.

Yes, you read that correctly.  Go on, give yourself permission.  What’s the worst that could happen?

If writing cards, addressing envelopes and posting them by a certain date on the calendar causes you stress, let it go.

I spoke with someone recently who said that every year she writes cards, and then never sends them.  This year she’s letting it go.  How about you?  Is this a shortcut you’d take?

oh yes, this is a shortcut I take … I try not to feel too bad, but I dread Christmas because it’s always so busy …

I have taken this shortcut some years, and others I’ve just written a quick card in reply to cards we received (boy, did THAT cull the list that year!), but you know, I love sending messages of love to people I rarely see, to let them know I am thinking of them still…

  3. Definitely one for this year!
