So often we want, and need, to make big changes in our lives and our homes. We want change and we want it NOW!
The problem is that change is hard. Change takes time. We didn’t become disorganised overnight, and the solution is hardly ever an easy fix. Otherwise, we would have made that fix, right?
Lasting positive change comes from making small improvements. Small steps are easier to insert into our daily lives. Small steps can be managed, tweaked, fine-tuned. And we can learn from small steps. We learn what worked, and what didn’t work, and why. We learn about ourselves and our preferences. And then we can take on another small change and then another. Before you know it, you’ve created new habits, achieved new goals, and feel like a new you. And it lasts, because you make small changes that equal big success.
