Checklists save lives.  No kidding.

Atul Gawande wrote his bestselling book, The Checklist Manifesto, after research showed that using checklists in hospitals made a huge positive difference to success rates after surgery.  It is compelling reading.

Notice one thing – success was significant when using checklists.  Not writing them and then forgetting about them.  Not intending to write them or check through them.  Using them.
