Recently I acquired a new mobile phone. There was nothing wrong with the old one, but I renewed my phone contract and it was part of the deal. There was something wrong with my son’s phone however, which is the reason I went for the new phone. His had given up the ghost, with lots of time left on his contract, so I’ll pass my old one down.
We won’t be just throwing his phone out, though. It’s useless to us, but I don’t want to contribute to landfill and polution. Cue Mobile Phone Recycling. That’s where to go to find out how to dispose of your old mobile phone thoughtfully. In my state all I have to do is call a toll free number to order a free-post satchel, and post it off for the phone to be recycled, and I’ll be helping raise funds for Scope as well. It couldn’t be easier.
