Lately there’s been a strange phenomenon going on around me. Wherever I go with friends or colleagues, someone can’t read something – the menu, an article, a contract – because they’ve left their glasses behind.
Having myself long ago succumbed to always wearing my multifocals, I don’t have this problem. I love to read and can only imagine the frustration of not being able to. So here’s a tip for you folks that need reading glasses only, and have trouble remembering where they are.
Get a second pair and put them in a standby spot. Perhaps keep them in the car, or in your briefcase or handbag. Give them a place to live, and always put them back there. No more frustration. No more hunting. No more asking someone else to read the menu for you. You’ll find freedom in that simple trick.
