100! It’s a big number. It’s a number worth celebrating.
Small children celebrate their first 100 days in school. World leaders celebrate their first 100 days in office.
Me? I am so excited to be approaching my 100th webinar. On September 24th, 2020, I’ll present my 100th webinar class. I think that’s worth celebrating.
To mark the occasion, I’ve created something a little different. It’s a Branding Blitz Workshop. It will be interactive and fun, just as a celebration should be. (Edit: It certainly was interactive and fun.)
But right now I want to pause and consider this milestone and how I got there.
Last week I wrote about an inspiring woman who has watched all 99 of the webinars that have gone before. I guess she must be sick of hearing my voice by now. Who knew there would be so many different topics to present about professional organising?
I’ve always enjoyed lifting others up with knowledge and inspiration. As a young girl, I would line up my dolls and teddies and “teach” them. Before becoming a professional organiser, I worked in childcare and kindergartens. I loved to help young minds learn and grow and support the parents of those little ones.
100 doesn’t happen overnight. On average, I create a new webinar every month. That means I’ve been doing it for over 8 years. The time sure has flown. My process for creating the monthly webinar has been perfected over those years. Technology has made it easier to create high quality content and to store and deliver that content. It’s evolved from scripted teleclasses (later converted to mp4) to mind-mapping a tried-and-true structure and engaging visuals. In the beginning, the recording was hosted on my increasingly bulging website. Vimeo is my friend now, with password-protected streaming.
Webinar topics so far have ranged from Mistakes I’ve Made to Downright Honest Answers to Frequently Asked Questions. They’ve covered essential PO skills, marketing trends, case studies, sales and marketing, and admin. Download a list of the full library of resources below.

The Good News
The good news is that there’s always more to learn and to share. As I learn more, through quality professional development and my own experience, I can continue to share that knowledge and experience with up-and-coming organising talent.
The Lesson
- 100 is a big number but there’s lots more info and inspo to come.
- It’s a privilege to do what I love to do.
Thank You
Thank you sincerely for joining in my adventures over the journey so far.
