A recent post at Unclutterer referred to a UK survey that looked at the real cost of clutter in our homes. Applying the same principle to Australian homes, I discovered that the average new mortgage here in Melbourne is $250,000, with average monthly repayments at $2100. If one room in a 6-room home is unusable due to clutter, the clutter in that room is costing $350 every month. That’s $4200 per year!
If your home is housing clutter, take a look at what it’s really costing.
Thanks to colleague, Paul Loupetis from Affinity Mortgage Centre, for his mortgage know-how.
