Today marks the first anniversary of my mother-in-law’s passing. Although she hung on for a long time through illness and incapacity, I prefer to remember her as the active, feisty woman I first met when my husband and I got together 36 years ago. She was a great mother to her 3 children and a wonderful grandmother to her 7 grandkids. One of her favourite things to do was to kick up a pile of fallen autumn leaves, such was her playful sense of humour. She was kind to everyone, birds and animals included. These flowers are for her.
If you’re grateful for someone, don’t wait till it’s too late to tell them. I urge you to share your gratitude, here on the blog, on the Facebook page, with your friends and family, or privately in your own gratitude journal. What are you grateful for?
