April Maintenance

Protecting your assets is part of being organised.  Your home is probably your biggest asset.

Protecting it will pay dividends down the line.

As they say, a stitch in time saves nine, and that applies to home maintenance as well.

In my part of the world, Melbourne, Australia, April’s weather is generally settled.  But with winter on its way, April is an ideal month to tackle some pre-winter tasks.

• Clean your guttering to help water flow away from your house instead of into it
• Clean your central heating filters to maximise efficiency and save money
• and if you have a chimney, Book your chimney sweep
