I love the stairs in my house. When we were building, my mother predicted I would hate them one day. It hasn’t ha
ppened yet, 7 years down the track. I love that every time I go up them I get exercise. I love their hardwood finish. I love that they take me up to my 2 favourite rooms in the house – my bedroom and my office.
And I love my stair basket. I believe these are quite common in Europe, where stairs in homes are common too. But I’ve rarely seen them here in Australia. It’s so handy for carrying things up and down the stairs, and it looks great too. What do you think?

WOW! I love your stairs too (I always wanted a house with stairs..still searching for a house at moment actually) and LOVE the basket indeed…..would look great in that spot with a bub in it (sorry that’s the photographer in me!) LOL.
